OH PARIS, PARIS - LEATHER TROUSERS AND WOOLLEN COAT

I'm a firm believer that you should listen to your parents' opinion. I don't say that you have to always follow it, but you should listen and consider it.

I make an exception when it comes to my mum saying I should throw away this coat. I'm well aware that it doesn't look new anymore with all its little woollen pompon things hanging off it, but it's comfortable, goes with everything and keeps me warm, and that's everything I would ever ask a coat to do. So it's one to stay, sorry mum.

For this look, the star of the show was definitely the cobalt-blue skinny trousers in a leather optic that I bought last autumn in Esprit. I chose to pair them with my favourite black jumper from Eureka that I stole from my dad. It's the most comfortable thing to just quickly throw on, and gives you so many different styling possibilities - I'm obsessed. For my shoes, I went with a simple pair of black Chelsea boots. Bag-wise, I decided that a black backpack would probably be the best companion for a long day of walking around.

Overall, the outfit was very simple in its pieces as well as in its colours, but I felt like the multitude of different fabrics created an interesting clash nonetheless, making it somehow a bit more fun. Oh, and little disclaimer before the next posts come up: my shoes suffered a lot during this trip (thank you, Paris-weather), so just ignore them.
