"Life is not meant to be lived in just one place." - You surely have already heard or read that quote somewhere. And I think that we can all agree that living the life of a fancy Instagram traveller is #goals all the way. But fact is that most of us don't get to travel as much as we probably would like to, which doesn't mean that our life has to be any less interesting though.

I've met up with Margaret from Cady Quotidienne the other day and she said something that really stuck with me: "We often don't appreciate the place we live in enough." And it's true. I've wanted to live in London since I was a clumsy 10-year-old wearing matching hair ties and dresses. And now that I live here, I go to uni, visit the same places over and over again, or stay in bed watching Netflix.

Which is exactly why I decided to start a new series where I'll show you random snapshots from my weekly trip around the city and hopefully either give you some motivation to do the same in your city or some inspiration what to visit when you're in London next time around.

LONDON WATERLOO - One of my favourite areas in London: Waterloo. It's as central as you can get. My obsession already starts with the station itself. The architecture inside and around the station is a really inspiring mix of grid constructions that remind me of old fabric halls, classic sandstone houses that are reminiscent of the Georgian architecture and modern glass buildings.

BANKSY TUNNEL - If you're already around Waterloo station, make sure to go by the Banksy Tunnel which is a short 5 min. walk away. Each time you go, you'll find new graffiti works by different street artists which makes the visit even more exciting. I make sure to stop by ever so often, just to see whether there is something new and interesting, and I've never been disappointed up until now.

LONDON CHARING CROSS / TATE MODERN - Last, but not least: a few snapshots from our way to the Tate Modern Museum (which I'll talk about in next week's London Strollings post).
